LOCALS IN FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA

Gray's A&W Rootbeer stand in Fairhope was owned by Ashley Gray's grandparents so the restaurant business has flowed through her veins for generations. After managing other peoples restaurants for years and never seeing her kids she decided to open Locals, and not wanting to take business from any of her friends in town, saw the need for a gourmet burger restaurant that didn't exist in Fairhope.  Because she always buys from farmers that are neighbors for her kids at home, she decided to incorporate that into her new place knowing that good fresh food grown locally is the only kind of food to eat.  She owned Locals for seven years and found much success, but when the chance to open a new restaurant in the current, gorgeous setting she couldn't turn it down.  She has brought the same farmers she buys from into their new location, and enjoy bringing fresh food to her neighbors again in a beautiful setting.  Ashley always wanted to be able to have live music to offer and now has the venue to feature local musicians and local farmers in such a beautiful space. Now, with THE BAR, a full service, walk-in bar complete with large screen TV's and Happy Hour specials every day, she has everything it takes to keep her clientele happy for hours on end.
